Currently, Eva is a Staff Product Analyst at Google where she built and leads the first analytics team within the Ad Platforms organization which helps improve GoogleAds.
Prior, Eva was a Senior Manager of News Product Analytics at The New York Times where she built a small analytics team that helped product, editors, and engineering understand how people read and move through articles.
Before analytics, Eva tried a lot of things, including: she was a sales person, event planner, marketing analyst, bitcoin "developer" (for 3 months in 2012), she ran whiskey tasting events, tried to help launch 2 startups and failed (but one was in China, that's pretty cool) and was a barista for many years. She can still do latte art (sometimes).
She graduated with a B.S. in Economics, Cum Laude from San Jose State University (2012). She was awarded the Rodolfo Gonzales Outstanding Alumni Award (2016), the youngest recipient to receive this honor, and gave the 2016 Economics department graduation keynote speech.
